1. On the way to Central Market Hall

2. Central Market Hall (The Great Market Hall)
We visited the Central Market Hall, which is one of the largest indoor markets in Budapest. It boasts beautiful neo-Gothic architecture. On the first floor, we found many fresh produce, fish, meat, cured meats, spices, and dairy products. When we went up to the second floor, we found many small shops which provided various Hungarian authentic cuisine and souvenirs.

Our favorite Hungarian biscuits: Pogacsa. We used to visit our Hungarian friends in Calgary and became a fan of these biscuits. Mmmmm… Yummy

Look closely. We found Marilyn Montoe, Elvis Presley, Kiss, Stalin and Japanese Prime Minister Abe along with other Russian Matryoshka dolls.
3. Danube River Night Cruise
One of our highlights of the Budapest tours was this night cruise. As darkness surrounded the city, we departed the dock. There was a large buffet dinner set up inside of the cruise ship. Also, famous Hungarian wine was served. After consuming enough food, we went out of the deck and enjoyed the hours viewing the night sights of Budapest. We would go back there again just for this for sure.

The color of the above building kept changing from purple to blue.

We began to see the parliament of Hungry in a distance. Wow! What a gorgeous sight!!
